Gail Mann, LCSW,
has spent 15 of her 25 years of clinical experience as a psychotherapist
at the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady Children’s
Hospital and Health Center, San Diego, California.
Ms. Mann served in a number of positions while employed at the
Chadwick Center including Program Clinical Supervisor and Team Leader.
It was her wide range of experience serving hundreds of childhood
trauma cases as a therapist, or as a clinical supervisor to staff on
these cases, that lead to her being chosen to guide the clinical process
as an author in the development of the TAP model.
Working side by side with Dr. Nicole Taylor Kletka, Dr. Alicia
Gilbert, and Barbara Ryan, Ms. Mann worked to represent and define the
type of trauma resolution work which had been successfully used by the
staff of the Trauma Counseling Center for many years.
Ms. Mann received her graduate degree in Social Work from University of
Illinois. She currently is
in full-time private practice in San Diego County specializing in
trauma and family therapies. |
